Entry Requirements

The qualification has been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression. Entry to the qualification will be through a centre interview

In certain circumstances, managers with considerable experience but no formal qualifications may be considered, subject to interview and being able to demonstrate their ability to cope with the demands of the programme.

In the case of applicants whose first language is not English, then IELTS 6 (or equivalent) is required. International qualifications will be checked for appropriate matriculation to UK higher education postgraduate programmes. Applicants are normally required to produce two supporting references, at least one of which should preferably be academic.

For this Level 7 Qualification, learners must meet one of the entry criteria below:

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in IT.
Completion of a level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline.
3 to 4 years’ work experience in a related field.

The initial assessment by the centre will need to consider the support that is readily available or can be made available to meet individual learner needs as appropriate.

The Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management is a comprehensive program designed to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage risks in organizations. Throughout the course, learners will be exposed to a range of topics, including ISO standard ‘harmonisation’ programmes, organizational strategy and risk plans, contemporary issues in CSR risk management systems, and risk financing options available for an organization. Additionally, learners will learn how to evaluate a range of tools to assess an organization’s position in the market and prepare a risk management plan to mitigate potential risks. The course also covers mathematical models such as VaR, CVaR, and EVaR, and teaches learners how to develop and design a research proposal on a chosen risk management-related topic.
